Long Ago and Far Away

I was quite blown away by the incredible soul of this Texas Longhorn steer, residing in Northern Virginia. No matter where I walked along his pasture fence, his eyes never left mine.

The song made famous by Frank Sinatra, ”Long Ago and Far Away,” made me think of the “old soul” I faced.

As the song goes, “Long Ago and far away, I dreamed a dream one day and now that dream is here beside me…chills run up an down my spine…”

Undeniably haunting!
