I always misjudge what I need to do on a painting, and almost always surprised at what I need to do. Well, that was the case with this one. I kept working on the flank and the more I worked on it the worse it got, not to mention it was becoming quite muddy. So, I don’t keep painting and painting and painting the same thing over and over. Sooooo, I went on to other areas of the bull. I started bringing up colors on the bull, working all over his body. I still have the eyes, ears, forelegs, the entire background and the dreaded flank, which I am determined is going to work out. Next time, I hope I have a finished painting to show you.
