CHARITABLE DONATIONS

Every year I participate in charitable donations by donating a painting at auction, this year by the SPCA, Fredericksburg, VA. The auction is broadcast, and the winner of the painting is to be a portrait of his/her dog, cat, horse of a specific size. I begin these paintings after all my images are submitted to the publishing house for the year, each May.

I am currently working on two dog paintings for the same owner. It will be followed by another dog painting and then I start my other work in the commercial venue. I find painting other subjects is very satisfying and love not knowing what animal I am going to paint.
