This hulk of a Charolais bull is a member of the New Mexico State University NCAA Rodeo Program, directed by Jim Brown.

I understand “Crème Puff” is anything but that when he has a bull rider on his back. This bull appeared to be arrogant, but very impressive. The amazing thing about him is that if I went from one side of his paddock to the other, he always knew where I was.

I watched him for a long time, as he would get up from lying down, scratch himself on a post, paw around him to look for a better place to raise a little dust, and then settle down again and look to see where I was standing. Then, if I stood in one spot he would resume dozing.
