I’ll Be Seeing You

On my frequent visits to the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum, I thoroughly enjoy spending time with all the animals that reside at the museum, but mostly the different cattle breeds.

I have watched this magnificent two ton plus Hereford Bull mature into an absolutely gorgeous animal. Quite often when I see him, he is hanging around the water tank. I always wonder what he is thinking about.

On most of my visits to the museum, I watch him as he hangs his head over the water tank before or after quenching his thirst. He pauses for long periods of time before he moves on.

I catch glimpses of a beautiful reflection of him in the water and wonder if he enjoys seeing himself in the water as much as I love seeing him.
