This lovely, aged Longhorn cow looked so graceful “itchin’ and scratchin’” along the wooden fence, as she glided back and forth trying to ease her discomfort of a coat ready to shed on the cusp of spring.  Longhorns know every inch of where their horns are, no matter how long or what looks like a cumbersome “hood” ornament.  The horns on this longhorn are called the Texas twist.  Their horns grow their entire lives.
