JENNY & FOAL

When I started this painting, I felt like the Jenny shared her love for her foal with me, the viewer, in such an intimate moment between mother and baby. I loved the way she nuzzled her newborn, and just how perfect the foal was, after just a few hours from birth. I marveled at how the Jenny has a lovely brown coat, and her newborn was blessed with a grey coat. So, it was a joy to paint this beautiful moment with this pair and enjoy the journey.
