Longhorn SPA Day

I just finished the first of two “Longhorn SPA Day” paintings. I am happy by the way this first one turned out…sort of mission accomplished. The mate to this painting was pieced together with the longhorn on the right coming from another photo with adjustments.

The placement of the bovine in the middle and to the left were adjusted to accommodate the longhorn on the right. I plan on adjusting the markings on the black and white longhorn on the left to a more eye appealing “dressing.” By that, I think the black markings with jagged edges and their location on the longhorn are an eyesore. Lastly, I was privileged to stand just far enough from these longhorns watching them cool off in this bed of water – a great day for me.
