I was in Colorado all of last week visiting my daughter, Kris, and her husband, Blake. Obviously, I took the time off from my painting, a much needed rest to charge my batteries. While visiting Kris and Blake, we went to the Wild Animal Sanctuary about 30 miles outside Denver, taking many photos of grizzlies in the water and also wrestling. I’m hoping to see a couple of paintings from the photos I took. When I returned from my trip on Monday, both Charley (Bouvidoodle) and Katy (Goldendoodle) greeted me with such wild abandonment. It just doesn’t get any better than this. Once I get my sea legs about me, I plan on starting painting on Saturday, after my artist reception at the Frame Design & Gallery Friday night.
