When I saw this “bucking” bull buck just because he could, I was totally enraptured. At the time, I was visiting some rodeo bulls in New Mexico, which I frequently did. Every time I went by the bull pasture, I could always feast my eyes and camera on something going on, whether they were standing, grooming or playing.

This guy looked at me for awhile before he went into his gyrations of explosions. The look that melted my heart were his eyes.

He focused on me while he was showing off. The amazing part of all this bucking is that he looked light as a feather in spite of the fact that he probably weighed no more than 1,000 pounds. But, his bucking was impressive!

If he had wanted me to move, he would have made subtle advances towards the fence, or lowered his head and pawed the ground. After he was finished with his antics, he laid down and rolled in the dirt. Usually this is get the parasites off, not to mention that it probably does feel good.
