Tres Caballos

There is a song called “Three Horses”, sung by Joan Baez. The lyrics run along the lines of folklore as one horse, a white stallion, tells his stories of the days now past and gone, the red mare’s voice is trembling with a rare and mighty call, and a black stallion, so proud and tall he never looks back, for he is the horse of the years to come. If you study these three horses, you could envision the days that have obviously passed, with their manes matted and rather tattered. Of course with all animals, the beauty of them is that they live for today, not yesterday and not tomorrow, and they can be any color.
